We were celebrating our daughter’s birthday that night. As the day filled with raucous laughter came to an end and the guests had departed, we commenced the onerous task of getting our house in order. And that was when we discovered to our utter dismay that the taps ran dry.
First we thought that there was no water in the overhead tank. When the supply came in the morning, yes the water did trickle down from the taps, but a little later things were back to square one.
