It was my friend Diya’s Sangeet Ceremony. The feast was set on tables. Guests were pouring and the whole tent was decorated with confetti and well knitted trail of marigold flowers. It was an auspicious moment, so the courtyard was cleaned and mopped. Exotic rangoli on the floor enhanced the looks of the venue. Children playing in the courtyard were not allowed to play around the zone where the rangoli was drawn by artistic hands.
Fenced park in front of the home has been cricket pitch usually, but that day appointed cooks were preparing sweet meat in colossal pans.
Pedestrians across the park, were curious to know about the occasion but they controlled their inquisitiveness.
Close relatives and extended family had already hired online companies to polish their looks. It was once in a life time moment for my friend so she booked bridal look package offered by well renowned company Helpguru.
Around 2O, clock everybody gathered for lunch, a courtyard wasn’t spacious so there was a buffet arrangement. Some guests were having lunch whereas others were discussing GST (New Tax System) over cups of coffee. Everything was going as per schedule suddenly power cut put a full stop on the party buzz.
My friend’s brother didn’t anticipate this thing. In the meantime, the beauticians arrived. Without electricity, things almost ceased. Unlike other beauticians, she was quite agile and smart. She knew it was a special day for my friend so, she picked her mobile and dialed help guru’s customer care service number, soon the company’s certified electricians arrived
These guys didn’t charge sky for the job and that was quite surprising. Once they fixed the fault, pedestal wings regained their pace. And with that, guests also resumed their chit- chat. That day I realized, so what if we don’t have a magic lamp in our lives, thankfully there are promising online companies which aren’t less than Magic genie.
